The white-sandy beaches, impressive mountain ranges veined with spectacular rivers and waterfalls, and saltwater lakes complete with exotic wildlife are just part of the Dominican Republic's appeal. Whether you're looking to for a vacation with a mix of relaxation and adventure, or have thought about purchasing property and/ or residing in the Caribbean… the Dominican Republic has an abundance to offer.

Many people visit the Dominican Republic for a relaxing, tropical beach vacation.  However, there is so much more… the country offers an incredible variety of sports, excursions and adventure opportunities - They range from relaxing sightseeing tours, safari’s, golf (9 premier golf courses), art, culture, and historical attractions, to a multitude of watersports and excursions like:  snorkeling, scuba diving, jetboating, windsurfing, parasailing, kite boarding, surfing, sailing, deep sea / charter fishing and day trip catamaran excursions to Saona or Catalina Island or how about a 2-3 day whale watching trip to Samana.  Or take a nature/eco-tourism trip that is mountain oriented and may include mountain biking, horseback riding, caving, zip-lining, canyoning, or mountain climbing in Pico Duarte, the Caribbean's highest mountain which is over 3000 meters or 10,000 feet!

The Punta Cana destination is made up of the following areas (covering approximately 35 miles near the eastern coastline from south to north). Beginning with Cap Cana (in Juanillo), Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Bavaro/ El Cortecito, Arena Gorda, Macao and Uvero Alto.

PUNTA CANA/ BAVARO/ EL CORTECITO AREA:  Unquestionably, the area of Bavaro, Punta Cana and El Cortecito have been experiencing a phenomenal boom since 2006, and is already considered a worldwide key tourist destination.  The extraordinary natural beauty of Punta Cana and strategic location and efficient International airport have now created highly desirable residential communities as well.

The Punta Cana / Bavaro/ El Coretecito areas are largely made up of about 40 world renowned all-inclusive resorts populated mostly by couples or families. Most resorts focus on couples and family entertainment.  More recently, several impressive residential developments have appeared, offering an investor paradise of 1-3 bedroom apartments (or condos) which in many cases can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to vacationers for often less than an all-inclusive resort. This is an excellent way to see the country and mingle with the peaceful people firsthand.  See Our Vacation Rental Properties
