Maria Williams is originally from Michigan, has been a U.S. licensed REALTOR since 2005, and has lived in Punta Cana since 2008.

You may have seen Maria on HGTV Caribbean Life.

Maria is in good standing with the U.S. National Association of Realtors (NAR), and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).

Maria maintains a continued affiliation with Century 21 in West Michigan, and is a member of the AEI Real Estate Association in the Dominican Republic.

Maria’s primary clients (both sellers and buyers) are English speaking from the United States, Canada, the U.K. and various parts of Europe. Maria holds an international marketing degree along with over 35 years combined experience in sales, marketing, customer service, project management and small business ownership. 

Maria is the proud mother of two married and successful children, and eight beautiful and talented grand children. She cherishes her visits and catching up with family and friends throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Maria enjoys travel, art, photography, golf, and various water sports including swimming, boating, and scuba diving.

Sadly in May of 2016, Maria's faithful Pomerianan (Amber) past away from a 4 year long stuggle with congestive heart failure.  She was 11. As the agency's mascot, her photos were used in many well-known publications in the DR. She will continue to be used in honor of her unconditional love and acceptance, her toughness (despite her size), and her fight to survive. She also was a symbol of our agency's pledge to assist in the dog rescue programs here in the Dominican Republic.  


Maria also has extensive property management experience, and has received various project management and customer service awards. She was a former District Manager for Pacific Intercultural Exchange, and has extensive experience in tradeshow and event planning. She formerly owned an art gallery and school in Michigan, and was an Honorary Chairperson for the National Congressional Committee. She also is a proud U.S Army Veteran.

Maria's "Claim to Fame"
While serving in the U.S. Army as a squad leader in Korea, Maria was selected to meet with former president Jimmy Carter in 1980. During breakfast, Maria suggested to him that service men and women be allowed to wear tennis shoes instead of standardized military boots during extensive training. This was implemented throughout most U.S. bases and several bases abroad and has since led to more consideration in the customization of military footwear.

Todd Williams

Born in the United States to Cuban parents, Anyshia is originally from colorful Miami, Florida and has lived in the Dominican Republic for 9 years. She is highly fluent and proficient in both Spanish and English at all professional levels.

Anyshia’s investor / entrepreneur parents have exposed her to business operations and direct customer service care since she was 13, allowing her to develop the knowledge and professionalism well beyond her years. She has worked with big names such as Disney, Starbucks, XEROX, GE Capital, Colonial Savings, Panasonic, NEC, and Sony Latin America, amongst others.

Yiseiry was born to a large family in Santo Domingo.  She was raised by her grandparents as her natural parents reside in the United States. Yiseiry came to Bavaro in 2013 ago, in search of a better opportunity for her 5-year-old daughter, Lian Zoe;  A very special little girl with a story of her own.  Yiseiry boast that little Lian Zoe is her life and inspiration.

Yiseiry speaks, reads and writes very good English… and she strives to learn and improve daily.  This is extremely impressive since her learning is primarily self-taught; a testimony to her discipline and determination to advance in all opportunities she has sought out.

Yiseiry’s hobbies consist of all different genres, primarily in the arts.  She absolutely loves the beach, as well as relaxing to music, especially American and European Jazz, Soul, and Blues. Yisery is a reserved person who prefers a good conversation with few and select friends over a glass of wine in her living room, rather than going out to a bar or nightclub.

For Yiseiry, her daughter, family and close circle of friends are first and foremost. Spending quality time with the people who she loves, and who lover her is what gives her meaning and value every single day.

Yiseiry worked for 10 years in restaurant industry, in all fields from Hostess, Bartender, Server, office duties, and later, worked her way up to the head of the Operations and Purchasing Management team for a major US Restaurant franchise. Later, however, Yisery decided to leave this busy and demanding atmosphere, with late night hours, in search of a new experience and career that would offer her more flexibility and quality time with her special needs daughter.

Gregory Perez 
Property Management Supervisor / Assistant Project Manager

Gregory Perez is Dominican-born and speaks fluent Spanish, Dutch and English. At the age of nine Gregory moved to Holland (Europa) with his mother for a better life. While in Europa, Gregory studied philosophy and also held a part time job as a car-painter while attending college. “This education, combined with my work experiences, changed my life into becoming a more mature man,” says Gregory.

In 2006, as part of the human rights movement in the DR, Gregory worked for a public school for four years, primarily as a teacher. During that time he amassed valuable skills while participating in many educational activities including various workshops, conferences, teamwork courses, and leadership training.

Gregory is a loving and hardworking husband and the proud father of 2 young children who reside here with him.  His primary job, as the Property Management Supervisor, is to assist Todd (the co-founder and Property Manager) as the "feet on the ground" person, thus assuring various property and project management work orders are immediately attended to. Personal hands on customer service is in high demand for the over 4,000 vacationers and owners that the agency services annually. During high season (Dec. - April), there can easily be 10 or more check-in and check-outs in one single day.

Gregory's role as Property Management Supervisor varies every day. He personally attends to small repairs, coordinates the cleaning and transportation schedule, attends to the ongoing inventory management needs, assists with prompt bill paying, and helps with personal and professional client check-in and check-out duties. 

Gregory also serves as a project manager and important liaison between property owners and other home professionals such as carpenters, designers, furniture/appliance providers, painters, etc.  He also assists our new owner clients in various tasks such as securing elctricity services, cable TV, internet. etc., as well as assisting in the coordination of approved service providers which may involve large and small renovations.  Of course, his ability to speak, read, and write both Spanish and English is essential for this position.

Gregory’s responsibilities require him to be on call nearly 24/7 so that he can meet the many needs of our clients from around the world. However, even while balancing his work and family life, Gregory receives daily compliments for his kind, prompt, professional and calm approach in all situations.

Philipp Ryzhkov 
Sales Agent

Philipp was born in a small country in Central Asia, in Kyrgyzstan. Then, he and his family travelled and lived in different places - Russia, China, Japan, Spain and others. It wasn’t until 8 years ago, that he came to and fell in love with the Dominican Republic.

The first 4 years, Philipp lived in the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Cabarete, then he moved down to Bavaro, Punta Cana and has been here ever since. Philipp currently speaks Russian, Spanish and English.

When he was just seventeen years old, he opened his first business, a TV channel and studio production where he gained a lot of experience in Customer Service, Public Relations and Organization. His first experience within the real estate market was in 2012 in Cabarete, where he was working with a small real estate company.

Philipp likes travelling, learning, and discovering other cultures and lifestyles, reading books, surfing, walking on the beach, and going out with family and friends.

Kristina Afanaseva, is a hardworking individual with experience in management of franchise guidelines, financial analyses, marketing, sales, and customer service.  Her ability to lead by example and adapt efficiently makes her an excellent addition to our team. She comes to us as our newest Sales Agent.

In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in Banking and Financial Support Services. Her love for diversity lead to a love for travel. She then obtained a Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management.

The Dominican Republic seemed the perfect place, and Bavaro Punta-Cana was a fit from the start; with the diverse cultures, languages and people, it felt as a natural new home for her. She speaks English, Spanish, and Russian.

Kristina loves Psychology and reading books on the subject is her favorite hobby; that and taking care of her two little fur babies. Kristina has a cat and a dog that she loves very dearly.   She is warm, compassionate, intelligent, ethical and quick to respond.  All the important attributes needed to assist our valuable clients.
Kristina has succeeded in many distinct roles but she has fallen in love with real estate. She feels she has finally found a perfect career match and it shows. At that time, Omar was working long hours with a lot of stress and suffered from some health problems. Medical staff suggested he make a change in his lifestyle. His sister-in-law convinced him and his wife to take a week-long vacation to the Dominican Republic. Omar was very well traveled due to many conventions and business trips across the country, but it was never for more than a few days.

Staying a week in the Dominican Republic, Omar fell in love. After venturing outside the hotel in Punta Cana, he saw the opportunities that the Bavaro- Punta Cana had to offer and  invisioned the growth that was to come. He decided to purchase property and move his family to the Dominican Republic. He has never looked back. 

He received the change of lifestyle he so desperately needed, as well as benefited from the investment he made back in 2005 when he first moved to the sunny tropics. 

Omar is still currently the co-owner of Cres Inversiones, an investment company that specializes in raw land and construction, amongst other things. He has also worked closely with the construction aspects of his other investment income properties here in the Dominican Republic.

Omar lives in the Bavaro area, on a golf course, with his beautiful wife and 5 dogs and near his daughter and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys all water sports, especially swimming.

Krystal Gorham

Krystal was born and raised in South Western Ontario Canada, and brings 25 years of experience in sales, management, and marketing.  Krystal, along with    her husband, own a successful Heating and Cooling business with operations in Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville Ontario, Canada.  As a co-owner of this business, together they built their business to the growth and success it is today.

Chris Williams

Chris Williams was born and raised in West Michigan, primarily around the  Grand Rapids area.  Chris enjoys many outdoor activities (like camping) in many amazing Michigan forests where he can teach his 3 grandkids how to respect beauty and nature. Chris also enjoys boating with his  family and friends on the Great Lakes of Michigan.  Riding motorcycles and  quads is another favorite pastime.  Chris was raised riding dirt bikes and in his early 20’s began racing motocross circuits for several years.  Today, he  still enjoys riding his motorcycle, trail riding, and Enduro style riding.

Chris has been working in the automotive industry since 1985, primarily as a plant engineer in the plastic injection molding area. Through this career, Chris has held many positions in this industry.  He has been with his current employer for 20 years and during this long relationship, he has overseen several plants in multiple states.

Although working full time, Chris’s energetic and entrepreneur side still finds time to steadily explore part time endeavors in other fields.  In 1990, Chris took his passion for photography and opened his own studio, primarily concentrating on children and senior portraits.  His work (photo shoots) even as a teen, had been published in local magazines.  Although, still an avid photographer today, Chris decided to close his studio in 2003 and invest his time and resources in the real estate market. He started by purchasing, renovating, and selling fixer uppers.  As that succeeded, he decided to secure his real estate license and worked part time for a local real estate office. However, when the economy took a hit in 2008, he decided to concentrate more time on his engineering career, expanding on his skills, experience and education, which involved traveling to other states in a management role…but with a constant interest and radar in real estate.

Chris’ education is ongoing and consists of attending several local colleges as well as specific training courses offered through machine manufacturers. Chris holds various certifications including “Six Sigma Statistics” where he incorporates this knowledge into his everyday life.

While visiting the Dominican Republic in 2010, Chris was immediately drawn to the beauty of the Dominican Republic, especially the vibrant Punta Cana and Bavaro beach areas.  Over his visits, he was impressed by the growth and infrastructure, the well-constructed, well priced, and well positioned real estate opportunities this area had to offer. He soon realized that this was the place to take his next career step.  

Chris also fell in love with the local culture and how friendly, sincere and generous the locals are.  He was amazed by the large abundance of palm trees, lush foliage, and the vast country side......and YES, the miles and miles of beautiful white sandy beaches. However, the atmosphere of this country and its genuine people are what really drives Chris in his goal to eventually making the Dominican Republic his home.

While trying to decide on how to make this goal work, Chris met with the owners of Reliable Realty with his ideas on personally introducing Americans from the States to the benefits of ownership in the Dominican Republic.  His ideas were well received and he is now working with Reliable Realty in an intro-country agent capacity until he can move to the Dominican Republic on a more full time basis.

Chris based his decision on seeking out Reliable Realty due to their reputation of having high moral standards, honesty and integrity in treating all their clients, (buyers, sellers and collaborators) with equal respect........whether locals or diverse international investors (large to small) and with nearly all budget sizes.

Since Lexie’s first bazooka bubblegum camera, to her sophisticated high-end equipment she uses today, Lexie has had a passion and eye for photography; landscapes, objects, people, interior spaces, groups, family events, weddings, and even photographs for websites and corporate ads.
