This modern and expanding Downtown Punta Cana area offers the San Juan Mall with the large Sirena Supermarket, IKEA, and brand franchises like; Pizza Hut, Burger King, Taco Bell and KFC.  This mall area is directly next to the large JUMBO full supermarket and across the street from the new and huge BRAVO grocery store.  In this area you'll also discover an array of other brand name stores, shops, the Hard Rock Café Punta Cana, A large Fitness Center (gym), mail depots, salons, and various other specialties and boutique shopping.  Other hot spots include Dinner in the Sky, the Coco Bongo Night Club, Dolphin Explorer, and BATU, a huge wakeboard and inflatable city activity center with Ziplining, dining and weekend entertainment and much more.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Should you want to venture to other beaches, malls, endless dining options, the active Downtown Punta Cana area, or the adorable Punta Cana Village / dining area... there are 4 easy options: UBER (very affordable), POPPI EXPRESS SHUTTLES, TAXI's, OR THE PUBLIC BUS TRANSPORTATION. Buses are available (for only 75 pesos, or $1.25 p/p one way).  Bus pickup is accessible just about anywhere with 20- 25-minute rotations. The Public buses are very safe and used often by tourist and expats, as well as our friendly Dominican locals.
